Job Description

Hire Resolve’s client, a reputable electrical engineering company, is currently seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.
Perform electrical system analysis and suggest improvements for efficiency and reliability
Support senior engineers in the execution of projects and ensure compliance with specifications and deadlines.
Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and specifications.
Use CAD software to create electrical layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Conduct testing, troubleshoot faults, and assist in repairs or upgrades to existing systems.
Ensure designs and installations meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Assist in client meetings, project discussions, and presentations with technical input.
Coordinate with teams to ensure smooth implementation of electrical designs.
Adhere to health and safety protocols and ensure electrical systems are compliant with regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering
ECSA registered
English and Afrikaans speaking
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and standards
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Prior internship or work experience in electrical engineering is preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
