Hire Resolve’s client, a reputable electrical engineering company, is currently seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.
• Perform electrical system analysis and suggest improvements for efficiency and reliability
• Support senior engineers in the execution of projects and ensure compliance with specifications and deadlines.
• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Use CAD software to create electrical layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct testing, troubleshoot faults, and assist in repairs or upgrades to existing systems.
• Ensure designs and installations meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in client meetings, project discussions, and presentations with technical input.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure smooth implementation of electrical designs.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols and ensure electrical systems are compliant with regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering
• ECSA registered
• English and Afrikaans speaking
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Prior internship or work experience in electrical engineering is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
