Maintenance Technician required for a reputable automotive company based in Pretoria
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections of production lines and machinery to identify and address potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to implement preventive maintenance programs and improvements.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or automotive maintenance role.
- Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Matric certificate or equivalent educational qualification.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and automation processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
