About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing credit risk, overseeing financial governance, and providing support to the treasury department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Credit Risk & Governance: Implement and maintain effective credit management processes.
- Vetting & Onboarding: Conduct thorough due diligence on new customers and suppliers.
- Limit Management: Monitor and manage customer limits to minimize risk.
- Stop-Supply Authority: Exercise authority to stop supplies to non-compliant customers.
- Debtors & Collection Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to collect outstanding debts.
- Treasury & Forward Cover: Provide support to the treasury department, including forward cover arrangements.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to build aging models and cash flow dashboards.
Requirements
- BCom Accounting Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Credit Management qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACMA).
- 5 years of experience in Credit Management or Commercial Accounting within a high-volume Distribution or Manufacturing environment.
- Syspro experience is an advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills are required.
- Ability to build aging models and cash flow dashboards.
