Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team in Pretoria. As the front line of our retail store, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and providing innovative business initiatives to increase trade. You will play a key role in strengthening brand awareness in the area and working closely with staff to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage staff effectively, inspiring, motivating, and developing your team to drive sales and excellent work performance
Allocate Sales Targets and ensure they are achieved
Adhere to Merchandising Standards and maintain a high level of product knowledge
Provide daily reporting on sales to staff and management
Ensure all employees have on-going training and development
Maintain work procedures and hold staff accountable for meeting standards
Run the day-to-day operations and sales of the store

Requirements

Matric Senior Certificate
Good Computer Skills (Excel, Email)
Effective communication at all levels in both English and Afrikaans
Proven record of exceeding sales targets with at least 5 years previous management experience
Ability to establish good working relationships and work well in a team
Valid Driver’s License and own transport
Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
