Job Description

Hire Resolve is currently recruiting for a Senior Architectural Technologist for an architecture firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading architecture firm, known for their innovative designs and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage architectural projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success.
  • Create sketch illustrations using Revit to bring the architect’s vision to life.
  • Prepare council submission documents and ensure coordination.
  • Produce detailed working drawings that align with other disciplines.
  • Attend site meetings and conduct quality control inspections.
  • Oversee construction activities and perform site inspections on behalf of the architect.
  • Value teamwork and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Embrace frequent international travel opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s (Honors) or NQF 7 or 8 qualification in Architecture.
  • 10-15 years of experience post-graduate.
  • Registered with SACAP (South African Council for the Architectural Profession).
  • Proficient in advanced usage of Revit (certification preferred).
  • Completed B+P Revit Assessment with a minimum score of 80%.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in council documentation and submission processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in technical detailing and construction documents.
  • Advanced understanding of site administration and project management.
  • Strong communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent client service through efficient and high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective planning and organization of workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Builds strong working relationships within project teams and with clients.
  • Demonstrates loyalty and sets a positive example within the company.
