About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Technician – Design & Development to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our design and development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems, as well as providing technical support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic systems using CAD tools and PCB layout software
- Review and test electronic schematics and PCB layouts
- Use electronic testing equipment to verify system functionality
- Program microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time
- Provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Grade 12 with a tertiary qualification in Electronics (minimum N4 Diploma)
- Minimum 5 years experience in an electronics design and development environment
- Strong hand skills, including soldering and use of electronic hand tools
- Experience following test procedures and using electronic testing equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
