Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Technician – Design & Development to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our design and development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems, as well as providing technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electronic systems using CAD tools and PCB layout software
  • Review and test electronic schematics and PCB layouts
  • Use electronic testing equipment to verify system functionality
  • Program microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time
  • Provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Grade 12 with a tertiary qualification in Electronics (minimum N4 Diploma)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in an electronics design and development environment
  • Strong hand skills, including soldering and use of electronic hand tools
  • Experience following test procedures and using electronic testing equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Formal education in Electronics (minimum N4 Diploma)
