About the Role

Crown Staffing Services is assisting a well-established Queensburgh-based client in the appointment of a suitably experienced Driver / Internal Sales Assistant. This dual-function role is suited to a reliable and customer-focused individual who can manage both delivery and sales aspects effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily deliveries of timber / wood manufactured products to clients within the greater Durban and KZN region.
  • Ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and timeously.
  • Assist with walk-in customer sales at the factory / office.
  • Handle telephonic enquiries and sales-related queries.
  • Provide clients with accurate information regarding product specifications, applications, and suitability.
  • Support internal sales functions and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Assist with general customer service and operational support as required.

Requirements

  • Valid CODE 08 Drivers licence.
  • Proven RECENT driving experience in a delivery driving role (Minimum 5 years exp).
  • Physically fit & strong.
  • Previous experience in internal sales, counter sales, or customer-facing sales support.
  • Experience dealing confidently with walk-in customers and telephonic sales enquiries.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, SPEAK & communicate product specifications and customer requirements.
  • Strong telephonic communication and interpersonal skills.
