Job Summary
Education:A Bachelors degree or Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.Certification or training in land surveying and solar site assessment is a plus.Experience:At least 3 years of experience in surveying, with a preference for experience in the renewable energy or solar industry.Experience in using survey tools such as GPS, total stations, and GIS software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS).Familiarity with solar PV systems and site assessments specific to renewable energy projects.Technical Skills:Proficiency in survey data collection, analysis, and reporting software.Ability to read and interpret site plans, maps, and technical documents.Knowledge of environmental regulations and local zoning laws applicable to solar projects in South Africa.Soft Skills:Strong communication skills for interacting with teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Other
