Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s Client is seeking to hire a Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to join their team specializing in Solar energy. The Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager will oversee the performance and maintenance of their renewable energy systems. The successful candidate will have a technical background in electrical engineering, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Monitor the performance of solar energy systems to meet production and efficiency targets.
- Analyze performance data and provide reports to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement procedures and best practices for O&M.
2. Maintenance Management
- Plan and oversee routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Coordinate troubleshooting and fault resolution.
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement.
3. Technical Leadership
- Offer technical support and guidance to the O&M team.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for recurring technical issues.
4. Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain clear communication with clients about system performance, maintenance schedules, and issue resolutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and engineers, to optimize operations.
5. Time and Resource Management
- Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and operational requirements.
- Ensure cost-efficient operation while maintaining high system reliability.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in solar energy projects with a focus on operations and maintenance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of PV systems, inverters, and energy storage solutions.
- Familiarity with Energy Management Systems and performance monitoring platforms is an advantage.
