About the Role

A Mid Bookkeeper is required to join a small team based in Retreat, southern suburbs, to provide day-to-day bookkeeping services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
  • Regularly reconcile bank and credit card statements to maintain accuracy in financial records.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring variances, and contributing to forecasting.
  • Support tax filings by organizing records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Identify inefficiencies in bookkeeping processes and suggest improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
