You will be responsible to monitor according to and to help implement ISO14001. It will entail implementing, monitoring, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements in accordance with ISO14001. The role focuses on preventing accidents, injuries, and environmental harm while promoting a safety and continuous improvement culture. Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor HSE policies, standards, procedures, and programs. Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments. Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports. Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training to employees and contractors. Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices. Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation. Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills. Liaise with management, employees, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters. Promote environmental protection practices, including waste management and pollution control. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) preferred. 2–5 years of relevant HSE experience (industry-dependent). Strong knowledge of HSE laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication and training skills. Ability to conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
