About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Takealot Fulfillment Compliance Officer to join our e-commerce operations team. This role is critical in maintaining high service levels, preventing suspensions, and ensuring seamless order processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all Takealot Fulfillment requirements and SOPs.
  • Verify order accuracy, routing, packaging, and labelling before dispatch.
  • Track and confirm lead-time shipments within required turnaround times.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues, discrepancies, or rejected shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all compliance checks, incidents, and corrective actions.
  • Provide feedback and training to warehouse staff to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
  • Liaise with Takealot representatives when necessary regarding compliance queries or escalations.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in fulfillment quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Compliance Officer, Quality Controller, or similar role.
  • Experience working with Takealot Seller Portal and/or e-commerce fulfillment platforms (advantageous).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify operational errors or non-compliant processes.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer literacy (Excel, email, and online platforms).
