About the Role
The Technical Sales Representative – Mining and Industrial role is a key position in our Rustenburg office, requiring an experienced sales professional with a strong technical background. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and building relationships with clients in the mining and industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets
- Provide technical support and solutions to clients on mining equipment and machinery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Target-driven with a proven sales track record
- Recognised technical qualification (Diesel/Petrol/Field Service) advantageous
- 35 years technical sales experience in Mining & Construction
- Strong background in technical mining sales, with familiarity in earthmoving equipment or mining machinery
- Computer literacy: Windows, MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Proficiency in English and Afrikaans
- Valid drivers license
