About the Role
Sandton law firm seeks the expertise of an astute, confident, and charismatic admitted attorney to manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be organised and methodical with an eye for detail, and have a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients
- Draft agreements, negotiate contracts, set claims, and advocate for clients in court
- Build client relationships and provide an excellent customer experience for clients
- Develop and strengthen client relationships, manage client expectations, and ensure client satisfaction
- Draft and prepare case-related communications with clients and required reporting throughout a project
Requirements
- LLB from a recognised South African tertiary institution
- Admitted attorney with a minimum of 1-6 years post-admission experience
- Excellent working knowledge of the law with experience in civil, commercial litigation, family law, drafting contracts, and Labour Law
- Ability to work under pressure
- High level of integrity and dependability
