About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Salesforce Technical Project Manager to join their team in Sandton, JHB. This role will serve as a bridge between junior project managers, business analysts, consultants, developers, and the Head of Delivery, ensuring effective project execution and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the lifecycle of Salesforce implementation projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget. Utilise both agile and traditional project management methodologies.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting expertise in Salesforce projects, supporting integration, configuration, and deployment of Salesforce solutions.
- Team Mentorship: Support and mentor junior project managers and business analysts, offering training and guidance to enhance their project management skills and technical knowledge.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, providing updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns effectively.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle. Develop mitigation strategies and ensure prompt resolution to keep projects on track.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement within the project delivery process, proposing and implementing process enhancements based on data and best practices.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present project status reports, KPIs, and performance analyses to senior management and clients.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management, with at least 3 years managing Salesforce implementation projects.
- Certifications: Certified Salesforce Consultant, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar agile certifications are preferred.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce (Service Cloud, Admin, and Omni studio). Familiarity with Red Hat, SQL, PowerBI, and other integration technologies is advantageous.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams, with strong mentoring skills to uplift junior team members.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated experience in risk management, gap analysis, and process improvement in a project setting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
