About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paint Sales Representative to join our team in Somerset West. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and construction professionals, while promoting and selling our decorative interior and exterior paint products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strong, long-term relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and construction professionals
- Promote and sell decorative interior and exterior paint products in a professional and persuasive manner
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within development projects
- Maintain existing client accounts with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Prepare and present accurate product proposals and quotations
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets through disciplined planning and execution
- Conduct regular site visits and provide reliable product guidance
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports in an organised manner
- Represent the company confidently and professionally at all times
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in paint or related building products
- Strong background in the construction and development industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently with strong time-management and organisational skills
- Reliable, accountable, and committed to delivering quality service

- Valid drivers licence
