Job Description
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience (see Duties and Responsibilities below).
- A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.

- Knowledge of civil, electrical, plumbing, building and mechanical faults.
- Ability to read, interpret and work from architectural, civil, electrical and services drawings, including water supply, irrigation, stormwater and sewerage plans.
- Proficiency in computer programs and applications (Microsoft Suite and Google Applications).
- Ability to work under pressure.
Duties and Responsibilities

Obtain quotes and execute all aspects of campus projects (maintenance and new).

Coordination and management of projects, contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff.

Vetting of all contractors including subcontractors.

Professional interaction with architects, quantity surveyors, engineers and other consultants.

Control and maintain the high standard of service to the College.

Compile specifications for all projects.

Regular reporting and ad hoc reports.

Budget control within each project including compilation, control, estimates, reports, quotes and payments.

Assist with other tasks as requested by management from time to time.
