About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our luxury hospitality property in Pilanesberg, North West. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service and dining experiences, while also supporting staff training, development, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing all Food & Beverage operations
- Ensure exceptional guest service and dining experiences
- Supervise restaurant, bar, and dining service teams
- Support staff training, development, and performance management
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination
- Ensure hygiene, health, and safety standards are maintained
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally
- Coordinate closely with kitchen and operational departments
- Monitor service standards and operational efficiency
- Assist with F&B administration, reporting, and controls
- Uphold property standards and professionalism at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager role within a lodge or hospitality environment
- Strong Food & Beverage operational knowledge
- Excellent guest relations and hosting skills
- Strong leadership and staff management ability
- Good understanding of restaurant, bar, and service operations
- Experience with stock control, ordering, and cost management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
- R18,000 – R22,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
- Live-in position
