About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant F & B Manager to join our luxury hospitality property in Pilanesberg, North West. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all Food & Beverage operations and ensuring exceptional guest service and dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing all Food & Beverage operations
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and dining experiences
  • Supervise restaurant, bar, and dining service teams
  • Support staff training, development, and performance management
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination
  • Ensure hygiene, health, and safety standards are maintained
  • Handle guest requests and complaints professionally
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen and operational departments
  • Monitor service standards and operational efficiency
  • Assist with F&B administration, reporting, and controls
  • Uphold property standards and professionalism at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager role within a lodge or hospitality environment
  • Strong Food & Beverage operational knowledge
  • Excellent guest relations and hosting skills
  • Strong leadership and staff management ability
  • Good understanding of restaurant, bar, and service operations
  • Experience with stock control, ordering, and cost management
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

Salary & Benefits

  • R18,000 – R22,000 (Negotiable DOE)
