? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is partnering with a new luxury beach lodge in Southern Mozambique to recruit an experienced and hands-on ????????? ??????? ?????????? ?????? The successful couple will play a key role in preparing, structuring, and launching a boutique luxury lodge, ensuring the property opens to international five-star standards. Working closely with the ownership team, the couple will oversee the operational build-out of the lodge, including the establishment of systems, procedures, staffing structures, and service standards prior to opening. This role requires individuals who are highly organised, practical, and execution focused, with the ability to balance pre-opening logistics, operational setup, and team leadership within a remote luxury hospitality environment. A unique opportunity exists for a dynamic and experienced hospitality couple to join the pre-opening team of an exclusive luxury beach lodge in Mozambique. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a couple with strong operational expertise, who thrive in remote environments and are passionate about building exceptional guest experiences from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the pre-opening preparation and operational setup of the lodge Establish departmental structures, reporting systems, and operational workflows Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all departments Recruit, train, and mentor the lodge management and operational teams Implement five-star service standards and guest experience protocols Oversee procurement systems, supplier relationships, and stock control procedures Assist in establishing food and beverage standards, dining concepts, and service delivery Ensure compliance with operational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Coordinate pre-opening testing, soft opening preparations, and operational readiness Foster a strong team culture focused on professionalism, consistency, and guest satisfaction Couple Requirements (Essential) Proven experience working as a management couple within luxury lodges, boutique resorts, or remote hospitality properties Pre-opening experience is essential, including launching or setting up new hospitality operations Demonstrated experience in establishing operational structures, SOPs, and systems Strong team recruitment, training, and leadership capabilities Solid five-star hospitality background with a clear understanding of luxury service delivery Strong food & beverage understanding within boutique or luxury lodge environments Highly organised, hands-on, and capable of managing multiple operational priorities Comfortable working in a remote location and fast-paced pre-opening environment A stable background with contactable references Package – Competitive salary with live in benefits Start Date 1 May 26 or earlier PLEASE NOTE Although we appreciate all applications, we will only reply to those candidates who meet our clients specific requirements.
