are partnering with a new intimate Bush Camp in Zambia to recruit an experienced and passionate This role is ideal for an experienced lodge operator with strong systems knowledge, sound HR understanding, and the ability to support digital marketing and brand presence, while acting as a solid 2IC on a remote property. We are looking for a grounded, hands-on leader who can bring stability to a new opening, support the GM in building a cohesive team, and confidently represent the lodge with guests, suppliers, and community stakeholders. The right individual will enjoy being on the floor, solving problems in real time, and putting robust systems and routines in place. · Minimum 5 years experience in luxury safari lodge or boutique hotel operations, with at least 2–3 years in a similar role · Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, or similar is essential for visa purposes · Comfortable engaging with guests, local communities, and senior stakeholders. · Strong working knowledge of ResRequest, TallOrder, and integrated accounting or ERP platforms · Proven hands-on experience in day-to-day lodge operations · Solid understanding of HR processes, labour basics, and disciplinary procedures. · Ability to lead, motivate, and upskill diverse teams. · Strong grasp of digital marketing principles, especially for high-end safari or hospitality brands, including content planning, guest engagement, and channel management. · Excellent communication in English, both written and spoken. · High level of computer literacy (MS Office, online collaboration tools) · Strong operational discipline and attention to detail. · Stable employment history with contactable references. – To be discussed on application with expat benefits ➡️ – Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
