About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at a popular and busy stand-alone restaurant located on the Cape Town Waterfront. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the successful and profitable management of our outlet, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient operations, and strong financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and supply chain management
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce costs
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Hospitality Tertiary qualification
- 4 years restaurant management experience in well-known fast-paced brand restaurants (A la carte full service restaurants, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner or all-day service)
- Experience from busy and high-volume a la carte restaurants or steakhouse franchise operations
- Not from fast food or QSR or wine estate operations
