About the Role

E-Merge, a modern data and analytics consultancy, is seeking a talented C# .NET Software Developer to join their team and contribute to cutting-edge solutions that empower businesses with data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain highly performant, scalable, and reliable applications web applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, LINQ to SQL, Entity Framework, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Implement robust and efficient Web APIs (.NET Web API) for internal and external system integration
  • Develop RabbitMQ consumers for processing of data
  • Optimize database queries and schema, primarily using SQL Server, to support high-volume transaction processing inherent in large-scale logistics
  • Collaborate closely with the small team and development leader to ensure solutions meet complex business requirements and architectural standards
  • Translate intricate logistics and supply chain operational requirements into functional, technical specifications and software code

Requirements

  • Extensive proven experience as a developer using C# developer, .NET
  • Essential experience in developing and deploying high-performance, low-latency applications, particularly those managing large datasets or high transaction volumes
  • Deep practical knowledge of building and consuming Web APIs for system integration
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedure development, and database performance tuning for large-scale applications
  • Experience with version control systems, specifically Git
