This is your opportunity to become the vital operational heartbeat of this well-respected guide training school. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth logistical and administrative operations of the camp. The ideal candidate has high energy levels, a pragmatic view of life, fancy working in nature, and has previous experience in the hospitality/nature/conservation environment. A position with the primary purpose of coordinating the communication, administration, kitchen, camp and course activities in the Camp. Core Criteria: Matric Certificate, an applicable tertiary qualification will be advantageous The candidate would need a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Safari, Lodge, or Hospitality Industry (Lodge background preferred) Valid drivers license Excellent personal skills with both staff and students Excellent organisational, logistic, and administration skills Completely computer literate Excellent track record with references Core Responsibilities: Understanding the Concessions and Reserve Rules and Regulations, and make sure that Instructors, students and visitors sign the Code of Conduct and Reserve Rules. Handle the official communication in camp. Camp phone and e-mails. Pre-course preparation Course Listings, Paperwork, Welcome Letters, Room Allocation, Food Orders and Menu preparation. Guest arrival, feedback forms, stock and cash control. Camp and guest administration, processing, invoicing, filing, and paperwork. Supervising housekeeping and kitchen staff The compliance with Legal and Regulatory Requirements with regard to Insurance, Health and Safety. This is a live-in role.
