About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter with strong technical ability to join our client’s team in Meyerton, Gauteng. As a key member of their civil and construction projects, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of carpentry work on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of carpentry work on civil and construction sites
  • Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Work with RTcat software for project-related tasks and measurements
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures
  • Execute formwork, shuttering, and structural carpentry
  • Ensure work is completed to quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with site teams and supervisors
  • Travel to various project sites as required

Requirements

  • 5–10 years’ proven experience as a Carpenter in a construction/civil environment
  • Solid experience in reading and interpreting drawings
  • Working knowledge of RTcat software (essential)
  • Relevant trade qualification (advantageous)
