Chef | Luxury Safari Camp | Timbavati Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join a luxury safari camp located in the heart of the Timbavati. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative culinary professional who thrives in a remote, high-end hospitality environment and enjoys delivering exceptional dining experiences in the bush. Package: Salary: R8,000 – R9,000 per month (Negotiable depending on experience) Live-in position Meals included Requirements: Previous experience as a Chef in a lodge or hospitality environment Strong culinary skills with a passion for flavour and presentation Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently in a remote location Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and stock management Creative and flexible approach to menu planning and dietary requirements Team player with excellent communication skills Professional attitude and well-presented appearance Key Responsibilities: Prepare and present high-quality meals for guests and staff in line with lodge standards Plan and execute menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and local produce Maintain stock levels, place orders, and manage kitchen inventory Ensure all food safety and hygiene protocols are consistently followed Collaborate with lodge management and service teams to deliver a seamless guest dining experience Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled Chef looking to develop their career in a luxury safari setting.
