About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Chemical Process Operator to join our team in operating and monitoring chemical production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor chemical production processes in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Monitor plant parameters including pressure, temperature, flow rates, and alarms
- Take routine process samples and coordinate submission to the laboratory
- Maintain continuous oversight of processes and identify deviations or abnormal conditions
- Operate control room systems and respond to process alarms
- Perform on-site operational duties within the plant environment
Requirements
- Qualification in Chemical Operations or Chemical Process Operations (N2 N6 Chemical Engineering: Operations-focused) or equivalent
- Practical experience in a chemical processing or production environment
- Experience working in a control room
- Ability to handle and work with various types of chemicals
- Comfortable working at heights and within industrial plant structures
