About the Role
Farm Manager SA is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Citrus Agronomist to join our team. As a key member of our farm management team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing all citrus production activities on our pomelo training farms. With a strong background in agriculture or related field, you will lead the development of training materials and programs, train extension teams and smallholder farmers, and assist in various citrus development projects across Southern Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor crop health and execute timely interventions
- Implement and track fertilization, irrigation, and spraying programs
- Conduct pruning and other key tree care operations
- Plan and coordinate harvest activities
- Ensure high standards of farm hygiene, safety, and sustainability
- Responsible for the farms to be compliant with Globalgap/GRASP/LEAF
- Deliver top-tier farm performance, setting an inspiring example for smallholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in agriculture, horticulture, agronomy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience on a citrus farm
- Highly motivated, energetic, and eager to learn
- Strong ability to supervise local farm teams
- Hardworking, hands-on approach
- Experience with organic citrus production (a “nice to have”)
- Fluent in English
