What You Bring to the Team
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Data Analytics
- Has proven experience working as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role
- Has experience within the credit or financial services industry
- Is comfortable working with large and complex datasets
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Can communicate complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical teams
Technical skills required:
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform
- Strong data querying skills using Google BigQuery and SQL
- Programming experience with Python
- Data visualization experience using Looker Studio
What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting, extracting, and compiling data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Cleaning, transforming, and structuring raw datasets for advanced analytics and predictive modelling
- Identifying and resolving data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies
- Performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and relationships
- Applying statistical techniques, data visualization, and predictive modelling to generate actionable insights
- Working with technologies such as SQL, Python, and BigQuery to analyse large datasets
- Staying up to date with the latest trends and developments in data analytics and machine learning
