About the Role
The Director of Human Resources will lead all pre-opening HR strategy, recruitment, culture building, compliance, and talent development for the hotel. This key role is crucial in embedding brand culture while aligning with local labor legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full pre-opening recruitment and workforce planning strategy
- Develop HR policies in line with brand standards and local labor laws
- Drive onboarding, training, and brand culture implementation
- Establish performance management and succession planning frameworks
- Manage payroll structure, compensation strategy, and employee relations
- Ensure compliance with Benin labor regulations
- Foster positive workplace culture and employee engagement
Requirements
- 5–8 years in senior HR leadership within international branded hospitality
- Proven pre-opening recruitment and mobilization experience
- Strong understanding of West African labor frameworks (preferred)
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Fluent in French & English
