Location: Safari Lodge, Nile River Front & Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda

This Safari Lodge is seeking an exceptional Executive Head Chef to join their prestigious team. The lodge, situated along the iconic Nile River and within the stunning Murchison Falls National Park, offers an unparalleled environment for guests drawn from American, European, and Asian markets.
About The Lodge: The Safari Lodge boasts 53 luxurious rooms, providing guests with an unforgettable stay immersed in the natural beauty of Uganda. Their outstanding Food and Beverage offerings focus on Buffets, Bush Dinners, and BBQ culinary experiences, designed to delight and impress our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect the lodge’s commitment to excellence and cater to a diverse range of international tastes.
- Manage, train, and inspire a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences consistently.
- Collaborate with the management team to enhance the overall guest experience, contributing to the lodge’s reputation for outstanding hospitality.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a pristine kitchen environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage budgets effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end hospitality environment.
- Exceptional culinary skills with a strong background in international cuisine.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a remote location and adapt to the unique challenges it presents.
- Passion for creating memorable dining experiences in a natural setting.
Remuneration and Benefits:
