About the Role

A Luxury Wine Estate based in Stellenbosch / Brackenfell is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to oversee estate and farm maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and compliance of all facilities, while also managing multiple sites, vendors, and service level agreements.

  • Run routine safety inspections
  • Correspond with contractors
  • Plan maintenance work

Requirements

  • Grade 12 National Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), or a related field is typically required
  • A minimum of 3–7 years in facilities management, with experience in managing multiple sites, vendors, and service level agreements
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Detailed knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and security protocols
  • Experience in preparing, monitoring, and managing operational budgets and vendor contracts
