About the Role
Farm Manager SA is seeking an experienced Farm Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our farm management, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities on our farm, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. With over 3 years of previous farm maintenance experience, we are looking for someone who can manage projects, write reports, lead meetings, fix punctures, and perform general maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects related to farm maintenance
- Write reports on maintenance activities
- Lead meetings with farm staff to discuss maintenance plans
- Fix punctures in irrigation systems
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as plumbing and welding
- Maintain centre pivots and other farm equipment
Requirements
- Relevant certificates or trade tests required
- Minimum of 3 years previous farm maintenance experience
- Proven experience in maintaining water pumps, fixing punctures, irrigation, centre pivots, plumbing, welding, and general maintenance tasks
- Ability to speak Zulu or Xhosa advantageous
