About the Role
Farm Manager SA is seeking an experienced and skilled Farm Manager to oversee the operations of our mixed farming business in South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in farm management, experience with crop rotation, game farming, and maintenance tasks, as well as excellent communication skills in Zulu.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage staff
- Manage buffalo herds
- General maintenance, basic building works, repairs to plant & equipment etc
- Assist with planting & harvesting of crops
- Run irrigation systems
- Game fence construction and maintenance
- Anti-Poaching tasks
Requirements
- Agricultural Diploma / Degree advantageous
- Min of 3 years previous farm management experience
- Experience in cropping – maize, soyabean & wheat
- Experience in game farming
- Ability to operate tractors and all farm related equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to speak Zulu
Qualifications
