About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-driven Finance Administrator to support the financial and administrative operations of a hospitality property based in Cape Town, Western Cape. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial processing, maintaining operational efficiency, and providing hands-on support to both finance and management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and process purchase orders in accordance with internal procedures
- Collate, verify, and submit payment requests for approval
- Maintain daily cash management and revenue spreadsheets
- Conduct End of Day checks to ensure revenue accuracy
- Update and manage daily and monthly finance workbooks
- Distribute proof of payments to internal and external stakeholders
- Scan, upload, and manage invoices using digital document systems
- Maintain organised physical and electronic filing systems
- Print stock count sheets and capture stock take results
- Compile and update inventory workbooks monthly
- Provide general financial and administrative support to property teams
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification
- Minimum 1 year administrative or accounting experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Experience with digital document management platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
