About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fleet Manager to join a leading luxury property group in Namibia. This role requires a hands-on, proactive individual with strong mechanical expertise and proven management experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of fleet operations, ensuring minimal downtime, optimal maintenance standards, and efficient workshop and administrative procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and plant equipment
- Maintain service schedules and ensure all vehicles are serviced to a high standard
- Minimise vehicle downtime and maximise workshop turnaround times
- Drive and test all vehicles post-service to ensure quality control
- Maintain guest-facing vehicles to high aesthetic standards
- Liaise with HODs and General Management on major repairs and costs
- Monitor and manage maintenance records, service logs and fuel usage
- Improve operational systems and reduce fleet downtime
- Collaborate with ranger trainers on driver training programmes
- Maintain clean, organised and fully stocked workshops
Requirements
- Strong mechanical qualification and trade test
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a mechanical workshop
- 3–5 years’ management experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Valid unendorsed driver’s licence and passport

- Formal mechanical qualification and trade test
