Graphic Designer Translate powerful sustainability narratives into compelling visual content across editorial, campaigns, and client work. Remote (South Africa), Monday to Friday 8 am-5 pm, R27000 – R37000 About Our Client One company is a consultancy and global media platform at the intersection of sustainability, fashion, and global change. The other is a purpose-led communications consultancy working with organisations and leaders driving positive change. Together, they work at the intersection of sustainability, reputation, and cultural change, combining strategic communications expertise with storytelling. The Role: Creative Designer The Graphic Designer will help define and shape the visual voice of both companies by leading creative design across owned platforms and delivering assets for clients. This role exists to translate complex sustainability and purpose-driven narratives into compelling, shareable content that reflects distinct aesthetics. The main focus involves producing content across digital, print, and event touchpoints, requiring strong graphic design, video editing, and motion graphics skills. Key Responsibilities Minimum 4 years experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio demonstrating art direction and video editing. Design high-quality visual assets for social media, campaigns, web, email, and events while maintaining brand consistency. Produce motion graphics and exceptional short-form video content, including reels for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X. Create sales and pitch materials, including pitch decks, one-pagers, and whitepaper graphics for companies and clients. Collaborate with clients to understand brand vision and translate it into social-first creative that feels authentic. Apply strong typography and layout fundamentals to both digital and physical outputs. Make complex environmental and sustainability topics digestible and inspiring for diverse audiences. About You Minimum 4 years experience in graphic design. PR and Communications background is essential. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and a confident video editor for social-first content. Solid motion graphics skills and strong understanding of visually engaging assets. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight turnarounds. Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Genuine passion for sustainability, fashion, and purpose-driven storytelling. Knowledge of newsletter design, experience working within sustainability, or understanding of sustainable fashion and environmental issues is desirable.
