? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is partnering with a luxury safari group based in Tanzania to recruit a highly experienced and strategic ????? ????? ????????? ??????? This growing safari hospitality brand with a portfolio of immersive, experiential camps Tanzania is entering its next phase of development and are seeking an exceptional Group Chief Operating Officer to provide senior operational leadership and drive the continued growth of the organisation. Based in Arusha, the Group COO will serve as the company’s most senior operational executive in Tanzania – effectively the country’s operational lead. While the Board retains strategic oversight, the day-to-day management of the entire group will rest with this role. This is a position of real authority and accountability, suited to a leader who thrives in complex, dynamic environments and is energised by the challenge of building something exceptional. The Group COO will have full responsibility for operational performance, financial discipline, people management, and the ongoing development of systems and standards across the business Requirements At least 8 years senior management experience within luxury hospitality, safari, or eco-tourism environments Relevant Tertiary Education essential for work permits Fluent in English; Kiswahili and prior East African experience highly desirable Stable career history with contactable references and impeccable professional integrity Must have prior experience managing operations at a comparable scale – ideally as a Country Manager for a lodge group or General Manager of a multi-property hospitality operation. Proven ability to lead and oversee complex, multi-site hospitality operations in remote environments, including managing an operations Manager and departmental heads across multiple properties. Strong financial management skills, including the ability to consolidate financial and operational reporting for a Board and maintain financial discipline across the group. Demonstrated ability to implement structured, systems-driven management – including developing internal controls, management systems, and operational standards across an organisation. Experience managing a large, diverse workforce, with the ability to lead staff effectively in a remote African bush environment.
