About the Role

The Head of Housekeeping is a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service in our establishment, requiring a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in lodge or hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the full housekeeping team
  • Ensure and maintain consistent 4-star standards
  • Conduct thorough room checks before guest arrival
  • Report maintenance issues proactively and immediately
  • Train and lead the team with accountability

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a 4-star lodge is essential
  • Reliable and proactive, solution-driven
  • Ability to take full responsibility in their department

  • Formal education/certifications not specified

Salary & Benefits

  • Accommodation: shared double room with shared bathroom
  • Leave cycle: 21 days on / 7 days off
  • Food allowance: 500 ZAR per month
  • Uniform: provided
