Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Bookkeeper with a BCom degree to join our dynamic auditing firm. The successful candidate will support the finance team with accurate record-keeping and play a key role in maintaining financial integrity in line with auditing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations
Process accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports
Support auditors with documentation and data requests
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Perform administrative duties related to bookkeeping and audits
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
02 years of bookkeeping or finance-related experience (internships included)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Attributes:
Previous experience in an auditing or professional services environment
Knowledge of VAT and tax regulations
Willingness to learn and grow within the organization
Strong ethical standards and professional integrity
