Job Description

Role Overview

Planet Fitness operates a connected digital ecosystem across a mobile app, website, CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and in-club member platforms across 50 clubs nationwide.

The Member Journey & Growth Analyst is responsible for analysing member behaviour and optimising the member lifecycle journey to improve acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and membership upgrades. This role ensures that marketing campaigns, automated workflows, and member journeys are data-driven, measurable, and continuously optimised.

The role works closely with Marketing, Product, CRM, and Engineering teams to translate behavioural data into insights that improve the overall member experience and business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse behavioural data across mobile app, website, CRM, and marketing platforms

  • Monitor and optimise member journeys across onboarding, engagement, retention, and upgrades

  • Track and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and lifecycle journeys

  • Conduct A/B testing to improve messaging, campaigns, and engagement strategies

  • Develop dashboards and reports to provide clear insights on member behaviour and journey performance

  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, engagement, and retention

  • Work with Product and Engineering teams to ensure accurate analytics tracking and data alignment


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, or a related field

  • 3+ years’ experience in digital analytics, marketing analytics, or growth analysis

  • Strong experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or similar analytics platforms

  • Experience working with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms

  • Knowledge of customer journey mapping, lifecycle marketing, and behavioural segmentation

  • Experience analysing campaign performance and running A/B tests

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and technical teams
