About the Role

We are seeking a versatile and cross-functional Mid-Level Software Developer to join our growing team in Cape Town. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building solutions that create real commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build Across Our Tech Stack
  • Develop cloud services in AWS using Terraform and Python
  • Build custom front ends using modern JavaScript frameworks and native Android
  • Maintain and enhance app builds in Zoho Creator (Deluge)
  • Work across our full ecosystem and grow into a highly adaptable engineer

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-6 years of relevant software development experience
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or similar languages
  • Experience with at least one backend framework (e.g., FastAPI)
  • Database management experience
  • Familiarity with Vue or UX design is a plus
  • DevOps & Engineering Practices
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture (AWS preferred)
  • Strong developer workflows and best practices
