About the Role
A leading industrial and manufacturing organisation is seeking a tech-savvy problem-solver to maintain their MIS environment, ensuring systems stay fast, secure, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure systems stay fast, secure, and reliable
- Solve technical puzzles and keep systems running smoothly
- Perform behind-the-scenes work to support the company’s operations
Requirements
- Min 3-5 years working experience in a relevant field
- Proven working experience as an IT / OT Administrator, System Administrator or relevant experience
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), patch management and cloud technologies
- Ability to create scripts in VB.net, HTML, Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, A+ or other language
- Internet security and data privacy principles
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Expert in Computer hardware: PC’s, Servers and VM etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Active directory Domain controllers
- Experience with VMWARE virtual technologies and backup methods
- Beneficial experience on Linux systems like Kubernetes
- Beneficial experience Network infrastructure, Network Setup and Fire-Wall configurations
Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12)
- National Diploma/ BSc/BA: Information Technology: Computer Science or related
- Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
Salary & Benefits
Cost to company salary of up to R960K per annum, depending on experience and ability.
