Regional Manager Cape Town – Automotive Industry experience essential
Must have at least 5 to 8 year Regional Management experience in the motor | automotive industry
Legal requirements: A South African born Citizen with a clean criminal background and a a clean ITC – checks will be done on shortlisted applicants.
Appointment: Permanent, full-time position
Salary: Basic salary is market related
Benefits: Provident Fund and December Bonus
Working hours: Working Hours: Monday Friday (08:00 to 17:00) & Saturday 08:00 13:00
Subordinates and areas: 7 Branch Managers and 7 branch Supporting Staff members, will be responsible for the following areas: Claremont, Ottery, Tokai, Woodstock, Montague Gardens, George and Humansdorp.
Qualifications: Matric or equivalent and a B.Com Management or Relevant degree would be beneficial.
Essential work requirements: At least 5-8 years experience in a similar management role within the motor | automotive industry
Duties:
- To oversee and drive the performance of multiple branches within the assigned region, ensuring consistent sales growth, operational compliance, customer service and team performance.
- The Regional Manager plays a critical leadership role in aligning branch teams with company goals, identifying challenges and executing solutions on the ground.
- Ensure building maintenance and health and safety requirements of all branches are in place.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience of managing profit and loss, balance sheet and associated financial responsibilities.
- Understanding of procurement.
- Sales and customer interaction experience.
