About the Role
AtripleA Recruitment and Temps is seeking an experienced Reliability Manager to join our team in South Africa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for tracking production losses, managing risk, and ensuring the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations. If you have a strong background in life cycle asset management, reliability engineering, and data analysis, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Works with Project Engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations.
- Participates in the development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans.
- Develops acceptance tests and inspection criteria.
- Provides input to a Risk Management Plan that will anticipate reliability-related, and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operation.
- Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations.
- Applies data analysis techniques such as statistical process control, reliability modeling and prediction, fault tree analysis, and weibull tree analysis.
- Performs analyses of assets including asset utilization, overall equipment effectiveness, remaining useful life, and other parameters that define operating condition, reliability, and costs of assets.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record of reducing production losses and improving maintenance cost savings.
- Strong understanding of life cycle asset management principles and practices.
- Experience with data analysis techniques such as statistical process control, reliability modeling and prediction, fault tree analysis, and weibull tree analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
