Responsibilities:
- Develop trusted, deep, collaborative working relationships with Pharmacy within the key SSA markets, focusing on independent pharmacy as well as chains where these exist
- Build commercial agreements within the environment that drives long term, win partnerships that provides additional value to pharmacy and positions market access healthcare as the preferred partner within the SSA markets
- Identify new business opportunities for growth, and motivate these through compelling business cases with measurable and clear value
- Develop and roll out an exclusive loyalty programme that is closely linked with the distribution business partners
- Actively contribute to key prioritisation discussions/decision with business MD’s & ICS partners for effective use of sales team resources
- Design and roll out an advisory programme for 2 way communication with key pharmacy stakeholders and the broader community, including quarterly advisory meetings, pharmacy association collaboration, speaker events & university engagement
- Utilise digital mediums to further enhance communication with pharmacy and augment sales teams interaction
- Deliver on agreed revenue driving projects and pharmacy initiatives
- Collaborate with in-country business on key programmes that deliver service excellence and great client service.
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in Life Sciences, Sales, Marketing or Business
Proficiency in Business English (written & Spoken)
Experience:
5+ years in a pharmaceutical or related healthcare organisations.
Previous experience as a key account manager, negotiating with large pharmacy/retail chains would be an advantage
Has worked with various pharmacy data sources and built forecasting and business cases for future expansion
Previous experience in launching new products, ideally within SSA markets
Ability to analyse market data and portfolio management
Delivered speaker or advisory panel programmes with KOL’s
