About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Manager to join our client’s team, responsible for overseeing daily security operations across a residential estate in South Africa. The successful candidate will be required to implement and maintain effective security policies, procedures, and risk mitigation measures to ensure a safe and secure environment for clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations across the estate, including access control, perimeter patrols, CCTV monitoring, and incident response.
• Ensure effective implementation of security policies, procedures, and risk mitigation measures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and security activities.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Manage a team of security personnel, scheduling shifts/rosters and providing guidance and support as needed.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to provide excellent customer service and ensure their needs are met.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Relevant security-related tertiary qualification/s (an advantage)
• PSIRA registered
• Valid security registration and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
• Strong personality with good people-facing skills
• Proven experience in a Security Supervisor or Security Manager role, preferably within a residential estate, hospitality environment, or similar upmarket setting.
• Demonstrated stable employment record.
• Experience managing teams and scheduling shifts/rosters.
• Overseeing control room operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management systems.
