Job Description
Key responsibilities
• Identifies the best ways to evaluate the software and then perform a variety of automated and manual tests to figure out if the software serves its purpose and consistently produces desired results
• Extracting and documenting of test requirements for user stories and/or Business requirement specs
• Collaborate with developers and testing team by identifying, logging, prioritizing and verifying defects in a defect tracking system
• Communicate findings to other team members so that decisions can be made regarding changes, improvements and alternatives to try.
• Consolidate reports from software testing team and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
• Matric
• Formal qualification in computer science of business information systems
• Software experience and knowledge
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• A minimum of 2-years’ experience in a similar role
• 2+ years’ experience in MS Office, especially Excel
