About the Role

We are seeking a Trainee Manager in Retail/FMCG for our client in Kimberley, Northern Cape. As a Trainee Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations of the store
• Supervise sales floor staff and provide guidance on customer service standards
• Manage inventory levels and process stockroom activities
• Process cash transactions and maintain accurate records
• Provide support to administration team as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
• Relevant Retail/FMCG qualification (advantageous)
• At least 5 years’ experience in Retail/FMCG across departments (receiving, cash office, administration, sales floor)
• Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience
• Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of retail operations and reporting
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); SAP/Unisolv experience an advantage
