About the Role

Joubert & Associates, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced Video Journalist to join our team. We are looking for a creative and skilled individual who can produce high-quality video content that engages our clients’ audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, pitch, and produce original video stories and marketing ideas
  • Shoot, script, and edit video content for digital platforms
  • Record podcasts
  • Create marketing material to boost online sales
  • Post videos and podcasts on relevant social media platforms
  • Provide user support regarding camera and sound equipment

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Videography / Journalism / Media / Marketing / Communications, or other related fields)
  • Previous experience in a similar role of videographer or video journalist (producing and editing of videos)
  • High level computer literacy (video editing software) and digital savvy
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
  • Detail orientated work style with good time management and organisational skills
  • Creative personality
  • Ethical and value-driven view of life, upholding Christian values
  • Drivers licence and own transport
