✨ Assistant Accountant Wanted – Luxury Wine Estate in Stellenbosch! ✨ Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-driven Assistant Accountant to join the finance team at a luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. If numbers are your love language and you’ve got a knack for keeping accounts balanced while sipping in the beauty of the winelands, this could be your perfect career move! What you’ll be doing: Capturing cash book entries and handling daily cash-up reconciliations Managing general ledger functions and journal entries Handling debtors – invoices, account reconciliations, and collections Overseeing creditors – invoices, reconciliations, and payments Stock administration, including invoice capturing and monthly stocktakes Petty cash management Ordering of centralised goods General office duties to support smooth operations What we’re looking for: Grade 12 Qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping 3 years’ experience in a similar role (hospitality industry experience a plus!) Excellent Microsoft Office skills Experience with Pastel (Sage) Evolution or similar accounting software ️ Previous exposure to Easipos (advantageous) ️ Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail Analytical, problem-solving, and ownership-driven mindset Professional, flexible, and able to collaborate across departments Fluent in both English and Afrikaans This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your finance career in a world-class hospitality environment, surrounded by vineyards and mountain views.
